Call to Ministry
I understand my present sense of calling to the ministry as one of making connections. As pastor, one of my responsibilities is to make connections between the Gospel message and everyday life; to help people make connections in their everyday moments; to assist in helping the church make connections between being members of the body of Christ and living their calling out in the world. Our connectional nature is in line with this sense of calling and I understand it to be the way by which I have been called to this place, during this time, to accomplish the goal of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. It is my prayer that I continue to be open to the leadership of that same Spirit during my ministry.
Passion for Ministry
At the present, my most joyful moments happen when I can witness others fulfill their own sense of purpose and calling as a part of the body of Christ. My passion is focused on making disciples for the transformation of the world and assisting the church and community with that goal in mind.
Vision of the Church
My vision for the Church is to raise up faithful disciples who live out their faith in everyday living by glorifying God through their thoughts, words, and actions as they seek to transform the world. As I reflect on my role as spiritual guide, my vision will become clearer in light of the whatever the congregational vision might be.
I anticipate that God will continue to guide and direct our hearts so that our vision can be a blessing to God and a guiding light to all.
